IMO the film dragged some in the beginning, but I think it has a bit of an art-film influence. It began to pick up once they got their space-suits on, were out of the space ship, and on the planet. We tend to think of sci-fi with space and barren moons, etc, but this took a why-not fresh take -- a vegetated moon that is inhospitable to human-life, however has some mining resources worth going after ....... sought by different companies and people in different situations. For me it had a bit of a Firefly feel. If you can get past the beginning, I think it's worth it.
