Favourite Movie Quote: "Isn't it awfully nice to have a penis? Isn't it frightfully good to have a dong? It's swell to have a stiffy. It's divine to own a dick. From the tiniest, little tadpole. To the world's biggest prick!" So - It would seem that when it comes right down to the "real" meaning of life, it all, somehow, closely ties in with the act of men impersonating women. Well, at least it would appear to be that way (according to the zany Monty Python's Troupe) since there wasn't one single skit in this entire film that didn't have one, or two, of 'em all dolled-up in drag, complete with wigs, dresses, heels, and the affected mannerisms. The Meaning Of Life (TMOL, for short) is an outrageously heady mixture of satiric and surreal skits exploring various facets of life and death - From procreation to the Grim Reaper, himself - All, of course, done with your typical "Python" irreverence. The best highlights of TMOL include - Part 5 - "Live Organ Transplants - The Liver Donor". And - Part 6 - "Mr. Creosole - The Joy Of Fat". (Whether you like it, or not, this one is a truly unforgettable scene.)
