Harry, Hermione and Ron start their second year already in trouble. Harry and Ron can’t even make the Hogwarts train in time! You would think they come up with a brilliant plan, but leave it to Rowling to find the best answer. They steal a magical flying car and drive their way to the castle! This book already starts off with a problem. Thankfully they make it alive, but surprisingly this isn’t even the scariest or dangerous problem they face! J.K. Rowling doesn’t hold back with problems which is super exciting! Although they aren’t relatable, she describes the story although you are alongside this trio fighting off giant snakes or drinking horrible potions. It’s a crazy ride filled with crazy secrets! 5/5 stars - @AnythingYellow14 of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets is the second instalment in the Harry Potter series. If you enjoyed the adventure of the first novel, I would highly recommend continuing the journey and reading the second. This time Harry, Ron, and Hermione, are starting their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After coming face to face with Voldemort at the end of his first year, one might have thought Harry was done with the dark wizard, but no. This time, Harry will need all the help he can get from his friends to save his classmates and his school from danger. He will not only have to travel into the past, but into parts of Hogwarts that most witches and wizards would not dare to enter. Just like the first novel, this is a good read for people of any age. The detailed descriptions will bring you right into the story with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. You will feel as if you are right there with the trio discovering all the magical hidden secrets of Hogwarts. I would rate this book four out of five stars. - @Sapphirereads of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
