"Inseparable since the sudden loss of their mother as teenagers, Willa and Harper Lakey are perfect opposites. Quiet, demure Willa has always admired Harper's sense of fearlessness and adventure, but enjoys her peaceful routine as a café owner in their quaint, coastal hometown of Oceanside, Washington. When a handsome customer shows interest in Willa, Harper urges her sister to take a chance on love--something totally out of Willa's comfort zone. But just as Willa begins to explore the possibilities, Harper receives crushing news that threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt. Though the time ahead may be trying, little do Willa and Harper know that it will bring about the most beautiful rewards"--

Loved the relationship between the two sisters.
Enjoyed the book, although the ending with Harper is so sad.
I've read this several times now.
Debbie Macomber is one, if not, my favorite author. ♥

Debbie Macomber never disappoints readers. Her stories are filled with human feelings, real life events that her readers can identify with. I would give this one a 4*, definitely one to read -there are some sad moments, but it still is a good one not to miss!

Not a book to lift your spirits, found it very depressing. Need something more uplifting during these challenging times.
Only got half way,and quite.

I have always loved Debbie Macomber and her writing style. Her books are always quick reads. This one is written as wonderfully as always, but if you are looking for uplifting and happy, this is not the best choice.

I enjoy Debbie Macomber's books. I find myself staying up late into the night to read her books. This one really touched me as it told of the special relationship between two sisters. I found myself befriending both Willa and Harper.

As much as I love Debbie Macomber's books, I found this one not quite to her high standards. The characters were strong and the story line was interesting with a lot of potential. The trouble comes with the relationship of the main female character Willa and her love interest Sean. The conflict was not written in a way that Macomber is accustomed to. I was disappointed in how long the story bobbed and missed, almost making me lose interest in finishing the book. I may be critical, but this one in my opinion was just not one of her best.
