A faith-based movie with a great message, but would have liked to see the characters better developed to give the story more depth. Some great scenes with a generally light mood, but the humor doesn’t always hit the mark and sometimes comes off as a little too silly.

Not that funny. Also, one of those everything, everything is magically fixed in the end type of movies (a marriage is mended in 5 minutes, an anorexic woman's life is fixed by calling home, teenagers decide to wait on sex because of a single lecture from an adult, etc). Might be more watchable for certain conservative christians, but still of a straight-to-dvd type quality.
I'm sorry I wasted my time on it.

Stembridge: I humbly believe if the summary of the movie mentions the word "pastor" then it MIGHT be safe to presume that it might have a "religious dogma" theme. & yes along with the other common genres such as romance, action, adventure & comedy, the "religious" ones also have an audience as TheCat72N certainly demonstrates with his (or her) almost 5 star rating & positive feedback. If it's not for you, then it's not for you but don't steer people away from a well-meaning movie because it is not your cup of tea (or coffee). To each their own.

Steer a wide berth around this one. Religious dogma masquerading as a movie. Part of the recent trend in attempting to catch unsuspecting viewers and converting them to "believe", by showing a more modern, progressive face on religion. No where in the online movie record or dvd jacket does it have any indication of this. You're lured in to be subtly "converted" to give up your power and put your faith in a mythical something else.

This one is worth viewing if everything else you wanted to see was on hold at the library. Not terrible, but far from top notch. I will let you be the judge.
