💖 great movie
I love watching movies that reveal the backstories of famous people; in this case, it's all about author J.M. Barrie who penned "Peter Pan." The acting is suberb! Highly recommend, especially if you're a fan of Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet or literature.
A wonderful story based on fact and acted by a superb cast. Highly recommend.
I thought Neverland was very good especially the acting by Johnny Depp, Freddie Highmore, and Dustin Hoffman. Kelly MacDonald was a perfect Peter Pan in the play within the movie. Neverland is based on a play written by Allan Knee "The Man who was Peter Pan" which doesn't seem to be available anywhere (even online!) although it has been performed occasionally. The movie is fairly accurate to the life of J M Barrie. The Llewelyn-Davies were an actual family, and Barrie did end up helping to raise the boys after both parents died.
A nice and pleasurable movie. loved the part when the children were seated throughout the audience for the opening night's performance.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. I think it's a well written story line. Captivating & a good watch.

very profound movie !kids as well as adults will enjoy.although i dont think most children would get that the boy inspired johnny dep the acter to right the play the boy as peter pan he is peter pan awesome movie a must watch...!!!!1and the world he brings to the dieing woman at the end .so profound need to watch.
This is a beautiful movie. Johnny Depp is terrific as J.M. Barrie, a man who retains his child-like wonder and sense of play, but also shows compassion and loyalty to a family he comes to love. There's a moment in the movie where he looks at one of the boys and says something about how the boy had just become an adult before his very eyes. It brings tears to mine every time I've seen this movie.
