Based on the award-winning novel, this drama depicts the problem of a high school girl, but it seems to fail to dig into her mind.

The only reason that one would want to view this made for TV film is Kristen Stewart's performance at age thirteen (she would be even better in the recent "Spencer".) The amateurish director (Jessica Sharzer) mostly makes a convoluted mess…

I found this film very moving. It's so important to find your voice in life. Stewart is terrific in this. She makes you want to give her character a big hug. And the girl's lacrosse team made my day.

Speak is a moving, emotional and serious movie that I recommend. This is a movie parents of teenagers should watch —with—their teenagers and talk about. it‘s pace is deliberate, and covers two different timelines, we get glimpses of the…

If you liked the book then you will like the movie. Melinda could have been played by someone better than Kirstin Stewart, but aside from that it's perfect. Just like the book! Pretty much word for word! ;) Postscript: every one should…

It was really nice how the art teacher inspired Melinda to tell the truth through her artwork & how everyone finally believed the rumorof her rape. It is never easy to report a rape especially when no one believes you. Why do people…

A thought-provoking movie! Hopefully, it will provoke discussion! This movie is in a class of its own, .. Creative! I felt there were some holes in the story-line, though.. Over-all, I do recommend it for the teens to see it! It is a…

I think every teenage girl sould see this movie! So many girls at my school are quiet they never speak up. I know that what happened to Melinda is a sad thing that happens every day. But I think this movie brings hope. I was certainly…

Sorry, I just couldnt get with the program. It had flashes of brillance, but nothing really grabbed me. Stewart was average at best, and I found her hard to like. A sad story didnt help me any. Her Art teacher was great.

I would recommend teenager to watch this movie. Although it's something we hope will not happen to girls/women in our society, but sometimes the evil nature of men prevail. This movie encourages the victim to speak out and don't have to…
