Still funny, still shocking, still terrifying. Has only improved with age.

If you liked the movie W you'll like this, but that and this film are not deserving of the phrase political satire. They are mockeries intended for audiences who already share a viewpoint. Good cast, lighting was OK as were wardrobe and…

Blisteringly funny at times, but NOT brilliant NOR definitely one of the best films of the year.

foul-mouthed political highbrows, both British and American, going at each other - yech

At this point, most Americans know Peter Capaldi as The Doctor (or maybe one of Paddington's neighbors) and not the most terrifying, foul-mouthed political middle man in film/TV history. His Malcolm is a force of nature in this political…

Veep was created by the same person who did the British TV series The Thick of It and movie In The Loop.

I guiltily love 'The Thick of It' (so sweary, but so funny), so naturally I had to watch this. It was fine. Not as good as the show, I'm sure partly because so much of it takes place in America. British humor can get lost over here, and…

Obviously a film that will not appeal to everyone - the expletives come thick and fast - but I hugely enjoyed it - so much that I watched it three times. Hilarious. Terrific writing, terrific acting, terrific direction. Five stars.

If you're a fan of HBO's "Veep," you'll definitely feel right at home with another one of Armando Iannucci's creations. Much like "Veep," "In the Loop" is a caustic, profanity ridden, laugh a minute affair starring a perfectly cast…

Outstanding satire about how decisions are really made behind the scenes by foul-mouthed bullies. Some truly virtuosic invective here--well worthy of praise. Tom Hollander stands out as the clueless minister who none-the-less has a…

It seems to have the potential of an interesting if implausible tale, But within three minutes I was presented with half a dozen vulgarities which added nothing to the story. Such vulgarity is not what I hear on the streets in my…

Very busy. lots going on how something said can be twisted. Not overly funny but I think worth a watch. after I watched it makes you think how scary it is.

You don't want to watch this political satire if you are offended by profanity. On the other hand, the non-stop rotor foul dialogues were both creative and funny as delivered by a motley bunch of British and American politicians involved…

British farcical political satire. A British sub-cabinet secretary, when asked by the media about the possibility of British and American involvement in a Middle East war says "War? War is unforeseeable." He's scolded for saying this…

Hilarious political satire featuring a cabinet minister who just doesn't know when to shut up. This film has added the phrase "Difficult, difficult...lemon difficult" to my lexicon.

This movie is really funny! However the subject matter is really depressing. The World let Blair and "W" destroy the Planet. Both of them should be in prison for life. We don't get those years back. Nor do we get those freedoms back. …

Brilliant satire: biting, fast-paced, caricaturish, hand-held camera work, pungent dialogue. Only the British could get away with dialogue slathered in vulgarity (every "bad" word is here in abundance) and not only get away with it but…

A warning – “In the Loop” contains a lot of expletives undeleted, with a lot of them being British expletives of which I am not aware if they are of the “darn” variety or the F--- word variety. If you can get past this, then you have a…

Fast paced political satire. Excellent cast. Created by Armando Iannucci, a rising talent, who's devised VEEP and Thick of It. It shows how in politics one's career aspirations too often overshadow service and policy. The Anti-West…

One hundred solid minutes of abuse and degradation of politicians so who cares anyway. Peter Capaldi stars as Malcolm, the Glaswegian spitting cobra.

Me and my wife loved it. It is incredibly funny, if you like political humor.

Quite a hilarious movie, full of black humor. Great performances by Peter Capaldi as the British PM' s spin doctor and James Gandolfini as the US General. Definitely not for the faint hearted OR those who dislike foul language.

A morph of the US "West Wing" and the Brit "Yes Minister," IN THE LOOP is not the best hybrid. It's awfully witty but I wouldn't want to watch it again to catch the parts I missed.

If you like Brit humor and political humor, you may like this. But this is not my cup of tea.
